I am still having fun playing with Margot’s Mud. Texture Painting with Margot Clark’s Mud is a very ‘unique” experience. You can let it air dry or fire it on a kiln. It works on everything! Wood, glass, paper, terra cotta, ceramic or porcelain. Great for decorating Christmas tree clear or glazed balls. Check out Margot’s website for more ways to use Margot’s Mud and to see pictures of her creations using her Mud. There are DVD’s and books with designs also for this product. www.margotclark.com You can watch Margot’s video demoing the Mud at SDP, just go to www.youtube.com/MargotAClark. Enjoy!

3D Crystal Lacquer that I learned about from Rebecca Baer. It is an mess-free high gloss finish with a precision tip. Acid free, this product can be used on a variety of surfaces including paper, great for turning watercolor paper into wearable pins. It is self leveling and you do not get bubbles in the finished project. Rebecca said you are able to glaze more than 20 medallions with one 2 ounce bottle. Another thing I like about this product is there is no odor. You may read more about this product on Rebecca’s website, www.rebeccabaer.com and go to Super-Easy Enamel Look.

Watch for DecoArt’s Traditions paints now being sold at JoAnn Fabrics! I am glad it is so much easier now to purchase this paints locally . If you have not tried these paints you are missing out, they are very rich and creamy. They cover well and have lots of pigments, which equals wonderful color for us.
